Florida is affectionately referred to as “The Sunshine State”. And with good reason, because the sun shines remarkably often on this peninsula.
A road trip or tour of Florida in the United States is ideal to discover the state. With a few days at the beach, an adventure in the famous Everglades and then to the theme park city of Orlando. Along the way you can visit some well-known beaches such as Miami Beach, but also some lesser-known beaches.
And of course The Keys, a long series of islands with a striking tropical character. There is much more that you can discover for yourself. Grab the (rental) car and hit the road.
Spring:
Spring is nice in terms of temperature. And you have few mosquitoes and fewer tourists.
Summer:
In the summer, these itchy bugs can be omnipresent. It is also much warmer and sweltering. And it is very busy everywhere.
Autumn:
Autumn is a good time to travel. The temperature is pleasant and there are fewer tourists.
Winter:
Perhaps the best time to go. The temperature is then about 23 degrees, just like the water. It is relatively quiet everywhere and travel is very comfortable.
