LEGOland Billund

Very first LEGO theme park in the world

The very first LEGO theme park was opened in 1968 in Billund, Denmark. When it opened it was mostly a miniature world made entirely out of LEGO, including things like the Eiffel Tower. Now, there is much more to it.

LEGOland Billund is the size of about 15 soccer pitches, and nearly everything here is made out of LEGO. Besides the many buildings, there are several rides and you can ride LEGO trains. Over the years, more LEGO theme parks have opened up around the world, but this is the original.

LEGO theme parks have opened in other locations in recent years, but this is the original. The amusement park is very popular, try to avoid a visit during the school holidays and weekends.
