Best time to visit Lake Bled:

There is no best time for Lake Bled. In winter it is beautiful here, with snow on the surrounding mountains. The trees bud in the spring, while everything is green in the summer. In autumn the leaves turn brown and this gives everything a completely different dimension.

Special about the lake is that it is full of fish, including pike, zander, and strikingly large carp. At one of the boathouses, you will find information about the various types of fish. Outside the high season, you can also see fishermen here hunting the predatory fish with their rod.

Be aware!

In summer it can get very hot and busy here. Especially on weekends when many day-trippers come to the lake. Autumn is often forgotten. Then it is remarkably quiet here.
