Panama City is the capital of Panama. The Spaniards founded it in 1915 as the first settlement on the Pacific Ocean. It has relatively unknown ruins of the old city centre, Panamá Viejo.
It is a city with an unprecedented long stretch of beach. With lots of Caribbean influence. What you can see everywhere.
The capital is logically where you land when you visit Panama. But the city is bustling and some of it is even a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover it for yourself during your visit.
