Bocas del Toro

Archipelago with a tropical mix of Central America and the Caribbean

Bocas del Toro is a group of islands on the north-west coast of Panama. It’s where the beach meets the rainforest, and a perfect place to relax, unwind and explore.

The islands lie on the edge of the Caribbean and the less popular Central America. It's a special mix.
You can snorkel, dive, spot dolphins, walk through the rainforest, sunbathe and party.

Bocas del Toro has numerous tours to offer. You can visit the different islands easily. Where ever you go there's a reasonable chance of spotting a sloth. These wonderfully slow animals are seen on various islands.

You'll get plenty of time for a photo, because they hardly move. Although these animals often sleep, so you might not even see their head. Ask on the spot if there is a sloth nearby. The locals protect the animals and often know where they are.
