Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

Typical English ceremony held in honour

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace in London remains a magnificent sight. Did you know there are more ceremonies that you can visit?

What time is the Changing of the Guard?

Everyone knows it, but the Changing of the Guard remains a magnificent sight. Especially because of its incredible and famous decor, Buckingham Palace. At exactly 11.30 am, the Queen’s Guard is relieved of his duty. The 45-minute ceremony can be seen here every day from April until July. During the rest of the year, the ceremony is held every other day, without all the showing of the flag.

Changing of the Guard with horses

More extraordinary is the Changing of the Guard with horses at Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall. Here you can view the change every day, from Monday to Saturday at 11.00 am and on Sunday at 10.00 am.
