Visit the Relaxed Island of Roatán Off the Honduran Coast

Roatán is the largest of the islands in the Caribbean Bay, off the coast of Honduras. The island is surrounded by the second largest reef in the world, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. The island itself is paradise for those who like peace and quiet.

The island of Roatán is little-known. It lies on the border of the Caribbean and Middle America. The atmosphere on the island is relaxed, especially on the beaches and the nearby bars and restaurants, where you can eat lots of fresh fish.
