Orheiul Vechi

The famous monasteries of Orheiul Vechi are located in Orhei National Park. This archaeological complex was already inhabited in prehistoric times. The oldest remains date from 4500 to 3000 BC.

The river had created a place where people could live well. Even today, the caves are accessible with centuries-old inscriptions. You will find Orhei National Park about 40 miles from the capital Chişinău.
