Cerro Verde National Park is according to many the most beautiful place in El Salvador. And it is often referred to as one of the most beautiful in Central America.
The famous Cerro Verde National Park is also known as Los Volcanes National Park, which is actually a more appropriate name for it. This nature reserve holds three volcanoes: Cerro Verde, Izalco, and Santa Ana, and it’s in the middle of the rainforest.

You can visit three volcanoes in the park. They are surrounded by the lush ever-green rainforest, and your chances of meeting wildlife are high, and may include sloths, monkeys and many birds. The local name is Parque Nacional Cerro Verde.
