São Tomé and Principe

Relatively unknown island nation off the west coast of Africa.

Ever heard of São Tomé and Principe? Think of tropical lush green islands. Coral Reefs with turtles and sharks. And hundreds of humpback whales that annually migrate along the coastlines. That’s São Tomé andPríncipe.

Some countries are not very well-known and São Tomé and Príncipe is one of those. But this makes it even more interesting to visit.

That way, you can discover the islands for yourself, their culture and specifically their natural beauty. Because these islands are incredibly green, and there is lots to see. The most remarkable is the high Pico Cao Grande; an incredibly steep rock formation.

You can dive and snorkel here at several coral reefs. And from July to September you can take a boat to witness the migration of hundreds of humpback whales.

The nation of São Tomé and Príncipe comprises several islands, of which São Tomé is the largest. The archipelago is situated off the west coast of Africa, in the Gulf of Guinea.
