A small country that has so much to offer

The Netherlands is easy to be explored. beautiful. This can be done in all seasons and in all kinds of ways. Holland, as it's often called, has more sights than you think. This little country has amazing changing landscapes, beautiful cities, and villages. The country has a rich culture, as you will notice.

You have to discover the Netherlands or Holland, as it is often called.  The must-see highlights are pretty close to each other situated. The more you explore, the more you're going to appreciate this small country.

In Holland you will find dozens of attractions. And you can do various special excursions. A long weekend or a midweek getaway. The city trips offer you a large choice of historical sights. Whilst the summer holidays are becoming more and more popular. An active holiday is definitely worth it. You can go hiking, cycling, mountain biking, sailing, paddle boarding and much more. Or try something typically Dutch like mudflat walking.

Various nature reserves

The Netherlands has dozens of nature reserves which call for a refreshing walk or bike ride. A trip with a park ranger is also enjoyable. You learn a lot along the way.

Nature in Holland is diverse with dunes, forests, heathland, beaches and much more. And they all belong to the typical Dutch landscape.

You can explore the national parks remarkably easily. There are many hiking trails to discover the landscape. You can also encounter animals on these trails. Animals such as roe deer, red deer, wild boar, fox, badger and recently the wolf.

I've made hundreds of trips in my country. Usually they are accompanied by overnight stays. Sleeping in beach houses by the sea to nice boutique hotels. You can sleep in a lighthouse however glamping can be done in more and more places. There are many accommodation options to choose from.
