The Nymphenburg Palace is famous palace in Munich. The huge building was designed in 1664 by the Italian architect Agostino Barelli for the prince-electoral couple Ferdinand Maria and Henriette Adelaide of Savoy. Their descendant and current head of the house of Wittelsbach still resides here, but not in the main palace.
