Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge

Longest Glass Bridge in the World

A glass bridge in the unique Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China is suspended around 300 meters above the ground. It offers dare devils a beautiful view of the surrounding rock formations.

The Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge is about 430 meters long and is suspended across a 300-meter-deep canyon. It is located in an area that is famous for being the location where they shot parts of the movie Avatar.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

Its official name is Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. It has amazing views over one of the most breath-taking landscapes in China. They have to regulate the number of visitors that can be on the bridge, but it can still get quite busy.

But you can book your ticket online and pick the time you want to visit, and you go early to avoid the crowds and possibly see the mist between the mountains.

Watch People Behaviour

It’s an interesting place to watch people’s behaviour, some people hold on tightly to the bridge, others don’t want to walk on the actual glass and others only want to crawl on their hands and knees. The footage of this glass bridge and how people behave on it really speaks volumes. Check it out:

This bridge opened in August 2016 and has become famous through social media, and the photos of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge are indeed something to behold.
