Deserted fishing village Houtouwan in Shengshan

A deserted fishing village in China is slowly taken back by nature

The abandoned fishing village of Houtouwan in China is different. The houses are completely overgrown with lush flowering plants.

This was once a thriving village where fishermen lived a good life. But times change. The photos are bizarrely green. And very beautiful. Plants and shrubs are taking over a village in China completely.

No one has lived there since the nineties, the fishermen have moved to the surrounding towns. The ghost town is now frequented by people who would like to see this phenomenon. It is beautiful to visit.
