An abundance of wild creatures roam our national parks all year long. Catching a glimpse of a bear, moose, or bald eagle can be breathtakingbut be smart and view them from afar! It's important to avoid disturbing these powerful creatures. Many times these forest animals become accustom to people and begin to rely on them for their food. This often adversly affects thier natural diet and should be avoided. |

Driving
Driving can be one of the best ways to tour national parks. Many parks such as Yellowstone offer driving "loops" that take you by the most popular attractions, often with pull-over stops and short walking trails near the road. If you'd rather not do the driving yourself, some parks offer driving tours. On long distances don't be afraid to ask someone else to drive or take a rest if you get tired. Remember to keep your eyes on the road it's not easy!

Camping Tips
Extinguish your campfire: Only you can prevent forest fires! Leave no trace: Clean your area for the next camper. Purify your drinking water: If you use nature's water when camping, purify it to avoid possible illness. Don't clean fish at the site: Keep away critters and insects by cleaning fish away from your campsite.
